ব্রিটবাংলা ডেস্ক : চলতি বছরের জানুয়ারী মাস থেকে ১২৩ দিনের ভেতরে লন্ডনে ৫০টি খুনের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। সর্বশেষ ঘটনা ঘটেছে বুধবার ইস্ট লন্ডনের হ্যাকনিতে। রাত প্রায় ৮টার দিকে ইস্ট লন্ডনের হ্যাকনিতে ২০ বছর বয়সী আরেক তরুন নি হতহয়েছেন ছুরিকাঘাতে। হ্যাকনির লিঙ্ক স্ট্রীটে এই ঘটনা ঘটে। পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে আসার প্রায় ২৫ মিনিট পরে তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করা হয়।
এর আগে সোমবার রাতে ওয়ালথামস্টোতে গুলিবিদ্ধ এবং ছুরিকাহত অবস্থায় হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন ১৬ বছরের কিশোর আমান শাকুর মঙ্গলবার রাতে হাসপাতালে মৃত্যুবরণ করে। সে লেইটনের বাসিন্দা। তার মুখে গুলি লেগেছিল। তার সঙ্গে ১৫ বছরের আরেক কিশোর আহত হয়েছিল। আমান গুলিবিদ্ধ হবার কিছু আগে টুটেনহ্যামে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে তানিশা নামে ১৭ বছরের আরেক কিশোরী নিহত হয়।
সব মিলিয়ে চলতি বছরের ১২৩ দিনের ভেতরে লন্ডনে ৫০জন নিহত হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে ছুরিকাঘাতে নিহত হয়েছে ৩৪ জন। বাকী ৭জন নিহত হন গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে। নিহতের মধ্যে ১০জনই উঠতি কিশোর বয়সের। নিহত বাকী সবার বয়স ৪০ বছরের ভেতরে। তবে বেশির ভাগ নিহতের বয়স ৩৭ বছরের ভেতরে এবং তারা সবাই পুরুষ। জানুয়ারী থেকে সবচাইতে বেশি নিহতের ঘটনা ঘটেছে হ্যারিঙ্গে কাউন্সিলে। বাকী সবাই লন্ডনের অন্যান্য বারায় নিহত হয়েছেন।

Man killed in Hackney street stabbing
A man in his early 20s has died after being stabbed in east London, the Metropolitan Police say.
Police said a man with stab wounds had approached officers in Link Street, Hackney, just before 20:00 BST.
He was given first aid, but was pronounced dead at the scene about 25 minutes later.
A 16-year-old boy found on Monday with bullet wounds, within an hour of another fatal shooting in London, died on Tuesday night.
Amaan Shakoor, from Leyton, was left critically ill after he was shot in the face in Walthamstow. A 15-year-old boy was also injured.
His death followed that of a 17-year-old girl, named locally as Tanesha Melbourne, who was shot and killed in Tottenham.
In just 123 days, 50 people have been killed in London – raising serious concerns about how to tackle violent crime on the city’s streets.
Stabbing was the main cause, with 34 people dying from the injury since January, and a further seven people died from gunshot wounds.
Ten of those killed were teenagers, but the same number of victims were in their 40s.
The majority of victims – 37 – were men, and while the borough of Haringey had the most incidents with five, people have been killed across the city.
