ব্রিটবাংলা ডেস্ক : লন্ডন টিউব স্টেশনে গুলিতে একজন নিহত। আরো একজন আহত হন। মঙ্গলবার সকালে কুইন্সবারি টিউব স্টেশনে রাত ৯টার দিকে এই ঘটনা ঘটে। গুলিতে ৩০ বছর বয়সী নিহত হন। এছাড়া ২০ বছর বয়সী আরেক তরুন আহত হন।
পুলিশ এই ঘটনার তদন্ত করছে। মেট পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, এজোয়ারের কিউম্বারল্যান্ড রোড এলাকা থেকে এ দুজনকে উদ্ধার করে। পুলিশ এলাকার সিসিটিভি পরীক্ষা করছে। তবে এই ঘটনায় কাউকে গ্রেফতার করেনি।
এদিকে চলতি বছর লন্ডনে গুলি এবং ছুরিকাঘাতে ৬০ জন নিহত হন।
London Tube shooting: One dead and another hurt
A man has died and another man has been injured in a shooting in north-west London.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was found with serious injuries outside Queensbury Tube station just after 21:00 BST on Tuesday and died at the scene.
The other man, aged in his 20s, is in hospital in a stable condition suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police are investigating the death as murder.
Scotland Yard said officers were called to Cumberland Road in Edgware, where they found the two men.
A crime scene remains in place in Cumberland Road and Essoldo Way, where police say the attacks are believed to have taken place.
No arrests have been made and officers are informing the victim’s next-of-kin.
Officers are examining CCTV footage in the area.
Formal identification and post-mortem tests will take place in due course, the force said.
The shooting is the 60th murder investigated by London police this year.
