ব্রিটবাংলা ডেস্ক : একের পর এক খুনের ঘটনা ঘটেই চলছে লন্ডনে। এ পর্যন্ত ৪৭টি খুন হয়েছে ২০১৮ সালের এই কয়েক মাসে। ১৯দিনে ঘটেছে ১৫টি খুনের ঘটনা। গত ১৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে ২২শে মার্চের ভেতরে লন্ডনে যে পরিমান খুন হয়েছে, পরিসংখ্যান অনুযায়ী তা নিউইর্য়ককে ছাড়িয়ে গেছে।
লন্ডনে সর্বশেষ খুনের ঘটনা ঘটেছে সোমবার রাতে। ১৭ বছর বয়সী (ছবির মেয়ে) কিশোরী। টুটেনহ্যামের চ্যালগ্রোভ রোডে রাত আনুমানিক ১০টা ৪৩ মিনিটে তাকে গুলি করে হত্যা করা হয়। ঘটনার সময় কিশোরী তার বন্ধুর সঙ্গে আলাপ করছিল।
এদিকে এই ঘটনার প্রায় এক ঘন্টার ভেতরে ইস্ট লন্ডনের ওয়ালথাম স্টোতে আরো একটি গুলাগোলির ঘটনা ঘটে। তাতে ১৫ বছরের এক কিশোর গুরুতর আহত হয়ে হাসপাতালে চিকিত্সাধীন আছে। গুলি করার পর তাকে ছুরিকাহত করা হয়।

Two shootings in London in the space of an hour have left a 17-year-old girl dead and a boy, 16, critically ill.
The teenage girl was found with a bullet wound in Tottenham on Monday night and pronounced dead at the scene.
The boy had been found with gunshot wounds in Walthamstow earlier, with another boy, 15, who had stab injuries.
The attacks come amid concerns over rising violent crime in the capital. Police are not treating the shootings as linked.
In Tottenham, a police cordon remains in place in Chalgrove Road, near Northumberland Park, where the girl was pronounced dead at 22:43 BST.

The latest murder comes amid mounting alarm at the rate of killings in London.
So far this year, there have been 47 murders in the capital, with 15 in February and 22 in March, both totals exceeding the murder rate for the same period in New York.
