FIFA President Gianni Infantino meets PM Hasina

Online Desk :: Visiting President of the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) Gianni Infantino has met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office in the capital.

Infantino reached Prime Minister’s Office at around 10:30am on Thursday.

The president of international governing body of association football presented a FIFA jersey to Sheikh Hasian during the meeting.
Earlier, Infantino arrived in the capital early Thursday morning on a day-long visit responding an invitation of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).

A five-member FIFA delegation led by Infantino reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 1:50 am (Bangladesh time).

Members of FIFA delegation are– Deputy Secretary General (Football) of FIFA Mattias Grafstrom, Chief of Communications Onofre Costa, Director of Member Associations Asia and Oceania Sanjeevan Balasingam, President’s Office Manager Federico Raviglione.

The boss of the governing body of world football (FIFA) Gianni Infantino will pass a busy schedule (Thursday) and attend several programmes on the day-long visit to Bangladesh before he will leave Dhaka on the same day at 5:00 pm.

The FIFA Supremo will visit BFF office in Motijheel at 12:15 pm and will address a press conference at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel at 2:20 pm on the day.

Infantino will be the third FIFA President to visit Bangladesh after Sepp Blatter and Joao Havelange.
