ব্রিটবাংলা ডেস্ক : সাউথ ইস্ট লন্ডনে স্কুলে যাওয়ার সময় ইয়ার সিক্সের এক শিক্ষার্থীকে প্রলুব্ধ করে গাড়িতে তুলে নেওয়ার চেষ্টা করেছিল অজ্ঞাত এক ব্যক্তি। ব্রোমলির ভ্যালি প্রাইমারী স্কুলের ইয়ার সিক্সের শিক্ষার্থী সোমবার সকালে একা একা স্কুলে যাচ্ছিল। এ সময় অজ্ঞাত এক ব্যক্তি এসে ওই শিক্ষার্থীকে গাড়িতে উঠতে বলে। ভীত ইয়ার সিক্সের ওই শিক্ষার্থী তার কথা না শুনে স্কুলমুখে হাটতে থাকে। স্কুলের সামনে ব্যাকেনহাম লেনে গাড়িটি থামিয়ে সে ওই শিক্ষার্থীকে সমান ডাকতে থাকে। অজ্ঞাত ব্যক্তির ডাকে সাড়া না দিয়ে শিক্ষার্থী কোনো রকম নিরাপদে গিয়ে স্কুলের ভেতরে গিয়ে প্রধান শিক্ষকের কাছে পুরো বিষয় খুলে বলে।
এরপর ভ্যালি প্রাইমারি স্কুলের পাশের সেন্ট মার্ক চার্চ অব ইংল্যান্ড প্রাইমারি স্কুলের প্রধান শিক্ষক এক চিঠিতে বিষয়টি অবহিত করে স্কুলে আসা এবং ঘরে ফেরার সময় শিশুদের প্রতি আরো বেশি নজরদারী বাড়াতে অভিভাবকদের প্রতি আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন। বিষয়টি পুলিশকে জানানো হয়েছে বলেও চিঠিতে উল্লেখ করেন তিনি। এ ধরনের সন্দেহভাজন ঘটলে তাৎক্ষনিকভাবে স্কুলকে অবহিত করার অনুরোধও জানানো হয় চিঠিতে।
অজ্ঞাত ব্যক্তিটি শ্বেতাঙ্গ। তার বয়স আনুমানিক ৪০ বছর হবে। তার মাথার চুল ব্রাউন এবং মুখে দাড়ি আছে। তার গাড়িটি ব্লু রংয়ের ছিল। কেউ তাকে দেখে থাকলে ১০১ নাম্বারে কল করে পুলিশকে জানাতে অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে।
Man tries to entice child into his car outside school
Parents have been told to be ‘extra vigilant’ after a man repeatedly attempted to entice a child into his car outside a school.
The driver reportedly went up to a Year 6 pupil outside Valley Primary School in Bromley, South East London this morning.
He is said to have pulled up alongside the child in Beckenham Lane and asked the child to get in.
The student refused, reports KentLive.
He then continued asking the same thing before parking the car and getting out.
The child managed to get to the school safely and informed a teacher about what had happened.
A letter was sent out by neighbouring school St Marks Church of England Primary School.
Headteacher Chris Hollands warned parents in the area to be on their guard.
He said in the letter: “The matter has been reported to the police but we encourage all parents to be extra vigilant on their journey to and from school.
“If you see any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the school over the coming days, please do not hesitate to contact us.”
The driver was in a blue car and described as white, in his forties with brown hair and a beard.
