Jubo League on Sunday expelled its Dhaka South president Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat and vice-chariman Anamul Haque Arman, who were arrested this morning, for breaching the organisation’s discipline and their involvement in anti-social activities.
Jubo League, the youth wing of the ruling Awami League, made the announcement in a press release on Sunday.
Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat, the alleged kingpins of “casino” business, and Anamul Haque Arman “on specific allegation” from Chauddagram upazila of Cumilla on Sunday.
On September 24, the government imposed a travel ban on Samrat.
