Shyamal Dutta: Bangabandhu & Bangladesh are inseparable

The Central Committee of ‘Bangabandhu Writer & Journalist Forum’ hosted a tea circle with visiting editor of Bhorer Kagoj Shyamal Dutta on 19 September at Café Grill restaurant, Brick Lane, Banglatown.

The event was chaired by organisations’s president Monir Hussain and conducted by Asst Secretary Jamal Khan.

 

Shyamal Dutta who is also vice president of Commonwealth Journalist Association said Bangabandhu & Bangladesh are inseparable. He said Bangabandhu not only called for independence but also for freedom in 1971. The fight for economic freedom is being led by the current prime minister Sheikh Hasina. It is a difficult struggle but we must all collectively and globally work together for a better Bangladesh. On the question of anti-Bangladesh activities he said he was aware anti-liberation dark forces active here in the UK by taking advantage of Western liberalism.  When faced with the question of pro-liberation & anti-liberation ideals he said there can be no compromise and the question of neutrality doesn’t even arise.

He finally requested the Forum to widely circulate Bangabandhu memoirs to young generation to spread the ideals Bangabandhu
