ব্রিটবাংলা রিপোর্ট : ছুরিকাঘাতে আরেকটি তাজা প্রাণ ঝড়েছে লন্ডনে। বৃহস্পতিবার ভোরে পার্ক রয়েল টিউব স্টেশনের পাশে করোনেশন রোডে ছুরিকাঘাতে ১৮ বছর বয়সী এক তরুন মৃত্যুবরণ করেন। এনিয়ে গত ৪ দিনে লন্ডনে ৪ তরুন ছুরিকাঘাতে প্রান দিলেন।

পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, বুধবার রাতে স্থানীয় ওয়ারহাউজে একটি পার্টি চলছিল। তাতে প্রায় অর্ধশতাধিক মানুষ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এই পার্টিতে গন্ডগুলের পর একে অন্যের প্রতি চিৎকার করতে শুনা গেছে।

পার্টির এই ঘটনার সুত্র ধরে পরবর্তীতে বাইরে এসে মারামারির এক পর্যায়ে ছুরিকাঘাতের ঘটনা হয়েছে বলে ধারনা পুলিশের। একই জায়গায় আরো একজনকে আহত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে পুলিশ। তার মাথায় আঘাতের চিহ্ন আছে। বুধবার মধ্যরাত প্রায় আড়াইটার দিকে পুলিশ খবর পেয়ে সেখানে গিয়ে ছুরিকাহত যুবককে উদ্ধার করে। হাসপাতালের নেওয়ার দুই ঘন্টা পর মৃত্যুবরণ করে ১৮ বছরের তরুন।
সোমবার ২৪ ঘন্টার ভেতরে লন্ডনে ছুরিকাঘাতে ৩ জনের মৃত্যুর পর বুধবার মধ্যরাত আড়াইটা অর্থাৎ বৃহস্পতিবার ভোরে মারা গেল আরেক তরুন। এ নিয়ে ৪ দিনের ভিতরে ছুরিকাঘাতে লন্ডনে ৪ তরুন মারা গেল।
সর্বশেষ ঘটনায় কেউ গ্রেফতার হয়নি। পুলিশ ঘটনার তদন্ত করছে। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের কাছ থেকে তথ্য আহ্বান করেছে পুলিশ। ১০১ নাম্বারে কল করে তথ্য দেওয়া যাবে।
Teenager knifed to death
A teenager has been knifed to death in London’s fourth fatal stabbing in four days as a huge brawl broke out at a warehouse party.
The 18-year-old was stabbed in the early hours of Thursday morning at the venue in Coronation Road, near Park Royal Tube station.
Police said 50 or more people could have been present at the party when a brawl broke out inside the venue.
Fighting spilled out into the industrial estate where the victim was knifed, police believe.
Another man suffered a head injury during the violence.
Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 2.30am to find the victim suffering from knife wounds.
He was rushed to hospital but, despite doctors battling to save his life, was pronounced dead around two hours later.
Detective Chief Inspector Luke Marks, who is leading the investigation, said: “At this early stage we believe the victim had attended a party at a warehouse type venue on an industrial estate in Coronation Road.
The latest incident comes after three people were stabbed to death in the space of 24 hours on Monday.
