ব্রিটবাংলা রিপোর্ট : নর্থ লন্ডনের ফিন্সবারি পার্ক মসজিদের সামনে সন্ত্রাসীর ভেনের হামলায় নিহত বাঙালী বৃদ্ধ মকরম আলীর প্রতি শেষ শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়েছেন তাঁর পরিবারের সদস্যরা। রোববার মধ্যরাতে তারাবি শেষে ঘরে ফেরার পথে একদল মুসল্লির উপর ভেন তুলে দেয় শ্বেতাঙ্গ সন্ত্রাসী ডেরন অসবোর্ন। এতে ৫১ বছর বয়সী মকরম আলী নিহত হন। আহত হন আরে ১১ জন। হামলাকারীকে ধরে গণধুলাই দেন উত্তেজিত মুসল্লিরা। এসময় মসজিদের ঈমাম তাকে উদ্ধার করে পুলিশের হাতে তুলে দেন। সন্দেহভাজন হত্যাকারী এবং সন্ত্রাসী হিসেবে ৪৭ বছর বয়সী ডেরন অসবোর্নকে গ্রেফতার করে পুলিশ।
এদিকে নিহত মকরম আলীর পরিবারের সদস্যরা জানান, তিনি একজন নিরব প্রকৃতির মানুষ ছিলেন। মৃত্যুর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত নির্ভেজাল জীবনযাপন করে গেছেন। মকরম আলী ১০ বছর বয়সে বিলেত আসেন। 
৪ মেয়ে এবং ২ ছেলের জনক তিনি। বিশ্বনাথে নিহত মকরম আলির গ্রামের বাড়ি। বৃহস্পতিবার নিহতের ছেলে মেয়েরা সংবাদ মাধ্যমের সামনে তাদের বাবা জীবন চিত্র তুলে ধরেন।
ঘাতক ডেরন কার্ডিফ থেকে ভেন নিয়ে লন্ডনে আসেন।
Tributes have been paid to Makram Ali, who has been named as the man who died in the Finsbury Park terror attack.
His family described him as a “quiet, gentle man” who “spent his whole life without any enemies”.
Mr Ali, 51, died from multiple injuries after a man drove a van into worshippers close to the Muslim Welfare House mosque in north London.
Darren Osborne, 47, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and terror offences.
In a statement, Mr Ali’s family said: “Our father was a quiet gentle man, he didn’t get involved in political or social discussion, he instead took comfort and enjoyment spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren and he was always ready to make a funny joke when you least expected.”
Mr Ali came to the UK from Bangladesh aged 10 and was married with four daughters, two sons and two grandchildren.
It is believed the van was driven from Cardiff, Wales at about 08:20 BST on 18 June to London.
Police have spoken to 28 witnesses from the scene, examined 80 hours of CCTV and recovered 33 digital devices from several addresses in Wales, Scotland Yard said.#BBC#
