ব্রিটবাংলা রিপোর্ট : ইস্ট লন্ডনের বাঙালী অধ্যুষিত টাওয়ার হ্যামলেটসের রোমান রোডে এসিড হামলার শিকার হয়েছেন বাঙালী যুবক শাকওয়াত হোসেন। ২৪ বছর বয়সী শাকওয়াতের একাংশ জ্বলসে গেছে এসিডে। অপারেশন করে নতুন স্কীন লাগাতে হবে। এসিড দ্বগ্ধ শাকওয়াতের বোন এই ছবি প্রকাশ করেছেন।
মঙ্গলবার বিকেলে ৭টার দিকে বেথনালগ্রীনের রোমান রোডে শাকওয়াত এবং তার বন্ধর উপর এসিড নিক্ষেপ করা হয়। ফায়ার সার্ভিস তার মুখমন্ডলে পানি ঢালছে। ৪ টি ফায়ার ইন্জিন এবং পুলিশ সেখানে আছে। ঘটনার তদন্ত শুক্র করেছে। হামলার শিকার দু কিশোরকে রয়েল লন্ডন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা দেওয়া হচ্ছে।

Police have been called after an acid attack happened in East London this evening.
A male victim, whose age or name isn’t known, was seen having water poured on his face in Roman Road, Bethnal Green, by paramedics.
Four fire engines are at the scene, which has been cordoned off.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said they were aware of an ‘noxious substance’ incident in the area and were looking into it but couldn’t comment further.
